April is Alcohol Awareness Month, a time to increase understanding about alcohol use and the importance of early intervention and treatment.
Alcohol is often normalized in everyday life, which can make it difficult to recognize when use becomes problematic. Over time, alcohol use can affect mental health, relationships, employment, and overall functioning.
Signs that alcohol use may be a concern include:
Difficulty controlling or reducing use
Drinking to cope with stress or emotions
Increased tolerance
Withdrawal symptoms
Neglecting responsibilities
At Flourishing Minds Wellness Center, we provide a full continuum of care to support recovery, including:
Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
Residential treatment (3.1 and 3.5 levels of care)
Peer recovery support
Relapse prevention and aftercare planning
Recovery is possible, and no one has to navigate it alone. With the right support and resources, individuals can build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
